The Jiangsu Government Scholarships provide financial assistance to qualified persons wishing to further their studies in China. Students seeking a bachelor’s degree will earn RMB 50,000 per year for four years, while master’s degree students would get RMB 70,000 per year for two to three years. Tuition, accommodation, and a living allowance are all covered by this financial help. Bachelor’s students receive RMB 15,000 in yearly living expenses, while master’s students receive RMB 25,000. Eligibility requires non-Chinese citizens to be non-Chinese citizens, to be in excellent physical condition, and to have a solid academic background with the capacity to become a specialized researcher or expert. PhD candidates must have a good academic background.
Zhengzhou University offers the President Scholarship to excellent overseas postgraduate students pursuing a master’s or doctorate degree. For Ph.D. candidates, these Chinese grants provide full tuition coverage for four academic years as well as a monthly stipend of CNY 3,500. In addition to an 800-word essay (for master’s courses) and an online application form, candidates must submit a 2000-word research plan. The school examines applications within 4-6 weeks following the application deadline.

The HKSES is now accepting applications from qualified Hong Kong students who want to study at world-class universities outside of Hong Kong beginning in the 2024/25 academic year (August 2024 to July 2025). Applications must be submitted online using the scholarship application system on or before December 29, 2023 (by 6 p.m.). Supporting documents, such as written confirmation of receipt of applications by the relevant universities/institutions, reference letter by school principal or referee, completed assessment by the school principal (for applications of undergraduate programs only), research proposal (for applications of research postgraduate programs only), and so on, must be uploaded to the online application system by the same deadline.
